Butter chicken and chicken tikka masala bring the tomato-and-cream richness that's made both dishes Baltimore favorites in their own right, while chicken jalfrezi and lamb jalfrezi trade that richness for a tangier hit of peppers, onions, and tomato.
Tandoori chicken and tandoori salmon come straight off the clay oven with real char, palak paneer and malai koftas cover the vegetarian side without ever feeling like a side dish, and naan gets baked to order – plain, garlic, stuffed, or the Kashmiri version studded with raisins and almonds.

A handful of Italian dishes – shrimp scampi, chicken alfredo, chicken parmigiana – round out a menu built for whatever mood actually walks through the door that day.

Tamber’s has an extensive Indian and American Menu but on this visit we came for a taste of their Indian Cuisine. We ordered the Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Jalfrezi and Stuffed Naan. All Indian dishes are served with a side order of Steamed Rice. Our selections were well portioned and tasted GREAT!
